Welcome
to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office Fraternal Order of
Police Lodge 131 web site. Our Lodge was formed in
2004, and consists of over forty Active members. These
members are Deputy Sheriff’s, and Retired Sheriff
personnel of Howard County, Maryland. Along with our
Active members we have the outstanding support of 14
Associate members, three of which represent the
Courthouse Security Section.
Howard
County Sheriff’s Office F.O.P. Lodge 131 was formed to
protect the men and women who serve the citizens of
Howard County, Maryland. We are committed to improving
the safety, and working conditions of our law
enforcement officers. Our intention is to do so through
education, legislation, information, community
involvement, and employee representation.
As the president of Lodge 131, I am committed to the
following:

To address the needs and concerns of the Sworn
Deputies of Howard County, Maryland.

To ensure the citizens of Howard County, and the
State of Maryland, whom we represent, the best
possible law enforcement available be it civil or
criminal in nature.

To encourage social, charitable, and educational
activities for our members.

To support and defend the Constitution of the United
States of America, the laws of the State of
Maryland, and those of Howard County, Maryland.
The
future growth of Lodge 131 will depend on the dedication
of our members, Active and Associate. We rely on the
continued support of citizens of Howard County, our
brother F.O.P. lodges, the Maryland State Lodge, and the
National Lodge, to ensure that Howard County, Maryland
law enforcement remains a profession in which the
members and citizens remain proud.
